About
Heather is an RVT that has worked at the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine for 18 years. She worked in the Large Animal Hospital for 12 years and then transitioned to the small animal Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Service. She was part of the first class to go through the Equine VTS process in 2011 had has served many roles on the AEVNT Executive Board. Heather has been on the speaker circuit for a number of years and co-edited a textbook that came out in 2022 called Large Animal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians. She is looking forward to being part of the Mountaineer family as well as part of the amazing Vet Tech teaching team.
