About
During his nearly 20-year career in the veterinary field, Dr. Jason Stanhill has had the opportunity to explore zoo and wildlife medicine, small animal general practice, shelter medicine and surgery, and academia. He’s incredibly passionate about veterinary technician education, so while he occasionally misses clinic life, he’s exactly where he wants to be on the team at App State. His professional interests include surgery, anesthesia, shelter medicine, marine mammals, and math... lots of math. Although he’s generally uncomfortable speaking in the third person, he is quite at home making jokes about it.
While his family insists on cooking like bacon in the Arizona sun, Dr. Stanhill lives in beautiful northern Colorado with his partner Kelsey and their two golden retrievers, Teddy and Sunshine. If the need arises, he can be easily derailed by the mention of Friends, Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Legos, movie scores, board games, logic puzzles, crosswords, card games, and the Green Bay Packers.
